EXCEPTIONALLY CHEMICAL RESISTANT EPOXIES

Protech has developed a series of highly corrosion resistant epoxy powder coatings for use in chemical environments.  These coatings have long-lasting resistance to sulfuric acid at elevated operational temperatures of 155°F (68°C) and are an excellent choice for forklift battery trays and many other applications where superior chemical resistance is required.  In addition, these powders offer excellent flow, enhancing the appearance and value of end products. They are available in a multitude of colours for example ES311N150 black and ES112Y43 Yellow.
TORONTO PRODUCTION EXPANSION

Over the past year three additional production lines have been installed at our Toronto facility.  These enhancements allow greater flexibility in production scheduling and turnaround times in addition to providing substantial extra capacity.
COATINGS FOR TRAINS

The Protech/Oxyplast Group proudly announces that Oxyplast PE50 polyester powder coatings have recently been certified EN 45545-2--the leading European standard for the fire testing of materials and components used in trains. Oxyplast PE50 meets the most demanding requirements making it the powder coating of choice for HL3 operation categories like vehicles used on underground sections (subways, tubes) and sleeping and couchette cars.  For more information on EN 45545-2 please go to:

To respond to the increasing demands for anti-graffiti coatings, Oxyplast has also developed PE87, a super durable, anti-graffiti powder that exceeds the specifications of Bombardier and NMBS.  This new product line will be further certified in order to meet all standards of the railway industry. PE87 is available in a wide range of colours, surface finishes and metallic effects.
